Worship Schedule

Sundays at 8:00 a.m. (Rite I with Eucharist) and 10:15 a.m. (Rite II with Eucharist).  One summertime service at 9:30 a.m. from mid-May through August.   Wednesday services at 9:00 a.m. & 5:30 p.m.

Sunday Programs during the School Year

Breakfast is hosted by the youth at 9 a.m. in the parish hall. Nursery attendants provide child care for infants and toddlers in the building across the street from the church. Christian education classes are offered for all ages at 9:30 a.m. in various locations. The adult choir rehearses their anthem at 9:30 a.m. Children worship in the Campbell building at 10:15 a.m. and join their parents in church during the announcements. Coffee Hour is served in the parish hall after the 10:30 a.m. service.

Wednesday afternoon and evening programs during the School Year

The Holy Eucharist begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. and programs for all ages are offered from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  The EYC (youth group for students and their friends in 6th -12th grades) meets at 5:30 p.m. in the youth building for a group activity, followed by dinner in the parish hall at 6:00 p.m.  From 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., we will offer worship/singing time, a lesson and discussion. EYC2 (for children in elementary school) meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Campbell building for lessons, crafts and activities, and playground time.  The Junior Choir rehearses in the Choir Room at 5:15 p.m. The Ridge Ringers handbell group rehearses in the handbell room at 4:45 p.m. The Adult Choir rehearses at 6:30 p.m. in their rehearsal room. Father Tom and Joanie Brawley offer adult courses beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Weekday programs

Volunteers receive, price and sell donations and consignments of used clothing, jewelry and household items at the Thrift Shop at 111 E. Orange Ave. The Shop is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Snowbirds and retirees gather Wednesdays at noon twice a month, as the Brown Bag Bunch, for lunch and programs.

The rector offers a Centering Prayer time from 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. each Tuesday.

The rector offers a Bible Study at 9:30 a.m. each Wednesday in the counseling room adjacent to his office.

Church Governance

Cyndi Landes directs the altar guild, which prepares the altar for corporate worship; John Motis trains the acolytes, who carry the cross and torches and assist at the altar during corporate worship; Ray Bassett trains and schedules the lay readers, who read the lessons and administer the chalice during holy communion; Denise Stembridge serves as senior warden, Jessica Bray serves as junior warden, Steve Carter serves as treasurer, and Cecily Harmon serves as secretary of the vestry, which serves as the governing body of the church; Lynda Norton chairs the outreach committee, which coordinates a variety of service programs and grants for the welfare of our larger communities; Father Tom and other members of the congregation participate in the Kairos prison ministry program at Avon Park Correctional Institution. We participate in the diocesan Cursillo Christian leadership program conducted several times each year at Canterbury Retreat and Conference Center. Penny Updike chairs the Meeters and Greeters committee, which welcomes visitors and guests to the parish. Linda Wright and Suzanne Harris coordinate the Flower Delivery ministry. Members take the altar flowers each Sunday to those who cannot attend. Denise Stembridge coordinates our mission partnership with Santa Maria, Honduras. Nancy Gossard, Father Tom Seitz, Joanie Brawley and John Motis coordinate the Stephen Ministry program of Christian care giving. Suzanne Harris serves as President of the Daughters of the King, who provide funeral receptions as needed and coordinate the United Thank Offering of the women of the parish.
